CU Bench: Peer Benchmarking on Public NCUA Data

Every credit union files a call report with the NCUA each quarter, and all of it is public.

The call report has peer comparison built into it, but I have never found it very useful. The peer groups are too broad, so you end up measured against credit unions that don't fit well, and you can't see the whole picture you want.

So I built CU Bench.

You can pull up any credit union and see where it stands against peers you actually choose. More filters, the useful parts of the call report data in one spot, and side by side comparisons when I want to look at specific credit unions against ours.

Built with Claude and Claude Code, running on Cloudflare.

It is open to anyone, so go take a look. I hope you find it useful, and I am always open to feedback while I keep trying to make my tools better.
